Rather than focusing on individual songs or techniques, they examine the deeper concepts that define the music—rhythm, timing, dynamics, space, touch, restraint, and the pursuit of authenticity.
 

Many of these observations come from years spent studying the original recordings, watching the surviving film footage, and asking not simply what the musicians played, but why they played it that way. The goal is not to recreate the past, but to better understand the musical language that made these performances so timeless.
